Former Green Eagles goal keeper, Amusa Adisa and Bayelsal United chairman Felix Beke have urged Super Eagles coach Stephen Keshi to continue in the rebuilding of the Super Eagles with local players as it would help him when the need arises.

The duo, who were impressed with the performance of the team  in last Sunday’s 2014 World Cup qualifier in Calabar said Keshi needs to work more on the team.  “I’m very impressed with the team’s performance and especially Keshi’s guts in fielding more of the local boys. It takes only a man who has guts to damn any consequence and follow his heart by fielding more  home-based players for the World Cup qualifier.

“I could see energy and determination in the boys. But he still needs to work more on the attack against Malawi. Also the team need to play more together so as to blend very well,” Adisa said.

On his part, Beke said, “they really need to be forceful in their attack especially against Malawi if they must succeed,” he added.
