The Korea Republic squad has continued its good run of form under Cho Kwang-Rae with a 2-1 win over Serbia in a friendly in Seoul on Friday.
The victory saw the Taegeuk Warriors stretch their unbeaten record to 11 matches, with their last defeat coming all the way back in September last year against Iran.
Monaco forward Park Chu-Young opened the scoring for Korea on 10 minutes with a header from Lee Keun-Ho's cross.
Serbia, who was without a host of key players including Nemanja Vidic, Branislav Ivanovic and Nikola Zigic, hit the woodwork twice in the first half, but it was the Koreans who scored next.
The goal came on 54 minutes when Omiya Ardija defender Kim Young-Kwan netted after Cha Du-Ri's pass.
Serbia boss Vladimir Petrovic made a number of changes in the second stanza and they set up a nervy finish when Radoslav Petrovic scored on 87 minutes.
However, there was to be no late equaliser as Korea held on to the win and now look forward to clash with Ghana, while Serbia's next opponent is Australia.
