Police officers assaulted in Dargaville

Two police officers have been assaulted in Dargaville.

The officers, one male and one female, were "knocked around a bit" after they pulled over a car, and the occupants attacked.

Their injuries are only minor.

The two occupants "have been arrested, and will appear in court in due course".
