Angola: Methodist Church Analyses Internal Matters

Luanda — The faithful of the Icolo e Bengo Methodist Church will be gathered in annual conference, on 9-11 June, to analyse internal matters, among other issues.
According to Rodrigo António, an official with the mentioned congregation, in an interview Tuesday to ANGOP, over the phone, the meeting will have the objective to upgrade the pastors in theological matters and help them to understand the problems of society.
The meeting will also discuss the modern societies and domestic violence, as a problem that has raised serious concerns insociety.
"We want to show to our pastors, and others, that the church has to be present in all the social problems and help society to solve them", he explained.
Rodrigo António added that the behaviour of pastors can help to change society and contribute to the social development of the country.
