Angola: Gospel Music to Contribute to Moral Values

Huambo — The evolution and expansion of gospel music genre in the country can contribute to the restoration of moral values and civic society, said Wednesday in central Huambo province the promoter of the Book and Gospel CD Fair, Jackson Matias.
Speaking to ANGOP on the sidelines of the event, which is going from June 8-10, in Huambo, the source said this will speedily facilitate the rescue of moral and civic values, taking into account their messages of love and dialogue.
He added that gospel genre requires greater investment in both the lyrics and melody as it conveys messages of love and dialogue among members of the society.
According to Jackson Matias, gospel is a written composition that expresses the belief of an individual or community with regard to the Christian life.
