Gunmen Kill Two Men In Gombe

Unknown gunmen last night shot and killed two persons in Gombe State. The incident occurred in Ungwan Jeka Dafari area of Gombe township.
A source in Gombe township told SaharaReporters that the gunmen came on foot through a narrow path to a place where people assembled after saying their night prayers .
On reaching there, the source continued “they opened fire and killed two persons. One of them is a student, and the second is a health worker.”
He added that they fled after carrying out the killings. The corpses of the victims have been deposited at the Federal Medical Centre in Gombe.
The latest killings has created uncertainty in the area as many young men are said to have fled the area after the attacks for fear of their lives.
