Rev. Bosun Olugbodi of First Baptist Church, Ogbogbo in Ijebu-North East area of Ogun State, has advised members of the seventh National Assembly (NASS) to shun all forms of corrupt practices.

Olugbodi gave the advice on Sunday at a thanksgiving service organised in honour of Rep. Kehinde Odeneye, representing Ijebu Central Federal Constituency.

The cleric urged members of the NASS not to compromise the truth but rather be disciplined and serve the people of their constituencies with vigour.

Olugbodi also advised the lawmakers not embezzle the constituency allowances meant to develop their constituencies.

According to him, “ my advice for the members of the NASS is that they should embrace self discipline and serve with integrity.

“They should be focus, generous and must shun any form of fraudulent act.

“A good leader serves with the fear of God. It is by grace of God that you were elected, don’t abuse the grace but rather serve your people faithfully.

“Use your light to light the candle of others. Be generous to the people that elected you and lead by example. Always remember that you are not at the Assembly to represent yourself but the people that elected you.“

Earlier in his remarks, Odeneye (ACN), thanked God for his victory at the poll and promised to diligently serve his constituents.
