BARELY a week after he was honoured in Ghana as the best governor on security
matters in Nigeria by Security Watch Africa, Chief Theodore Orji of Abia State
has boosted the surveillance kit of the Independent Petroleum Marketers of
Nigeria (IPMAN) Aba zone, by presenting the zone with two patrol vans with which
to monitor pipeline routes.
The governor decried the seeming resurrection of pipeline vandalism in the zone
after the resumption of petroleum products distribution at Osisioma Aba NNPC
Depot, long after it suspended operations for more than five years.
Leader of the marketers, Mr Gilbert Nwoke, thanked Orji for fulfilling his
pledge.
