The African Movies industry has presented numerous opportunities for so many to get exposure and massive following in and across the world over, thanks to the penetrative effect of Nollywood which has become a stable for most family homes.

With the success also came ambition either for personal interests or for those who wanted to have and make a positive impact on the lives of people from their localities either through charitable works or joining the political wagon which offers more clout to effectively push through measures that can quickly make an impact.

RMD is the prime example of a classic actor turned politician out of a desire to purposefully help out with the people of the native Delta region in Nigeria where most of the country’s oil resources is located. For years, irrespective of the heavy activity that goes on there and the immense wealth that the country generated as a result, the Delta people continued to wallow in poverty and neglect, a scenario that got him into politics to add a voice to their continuous plea thanks to the personality he carved out for being in Hollywood.

But are others following his path and venturing into politics too? Maybe Kalsoume Sinare??!
