ABEOKUTA-THERE are indications that Coca-Cola International, employers to Mr. Segun Ogunsanya, who was appointed Chief of Staff to Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, may not release him to assume his new office.

Close to two weeks after the appointment was announced, Mr. Ogunsanya is yet to assume duties.

Explaining the inability of Mr. Ounsanya to resume, Senior Special Assistant to Governor  Amosun, Funmi Wakama, said his present employers, Coca-Cola International, had maintained that he fulfilled the mandatory disengagement procedure as well as period of notice contained in his contract of service.

Ogunsanya is presently the Managing Director of Coca Cola, Kenya and executive committee member of the East and South Africa operations of the company.

He returned to Kenya to formalise his final withdrawal from the service, but discovered that as a top executive, it was not easy to leave as he thought.
